Post Qualification Criteria:

Age Qualification: 
--The minimum age of the Candidates for the TNPSC Recruitment 2015 is 18 years.
--The maximum age of the Candidates is 30 years for Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC(A)s,STs, MBCs/DCs,BCs and BCMs.
--The maximum age of the Candidates for the TNPSC Recruitment 2015 will be determined as on
01-07-2015.
--No Maximum age limit for Scheduled Caste / Scheduled Caste (Arunthathiyars),Scheduled Tribes, Most Backward Classes / Denotified Communities, Backward Classes, Backward Classes (Muslims) and Destitute Widows of all castes.
NOTE: Candidates not belonging to SCs, SC (Arunthathiyars), STs, MBCs/DCs, BCs, BCMs (i.e. others) who have put in five years and more of service in the State/Central Government are not eligible to apply, even though they are within the age limit.

Essential Educational Qualification:
1.Assistant - Bachelor’s Degree in relevant trade.
2.Personal Clerk - Bachelor’s Degree and Must have passed the Government Technical Examination.
3.Planning Junior Assistant - A degree of B.A., or B.Sc., or B.Com., of any University.
4.Lower Division Clerk - B.A., or B.Sc., or B.Com., of any University recognised by the University Grants Commission.
5.Junior Co-operative Auditor - B.B.M. Degree or B.Com. Degree or B.Com (Computer Application) Degree or B.A. (Co-operation) Degree or B.A. (Economics) Degree or B.A. (Corporate Secretaryship) Degree or B.B.E. Degree.

Other Details of Recruitment

Application Fees: 
Examination fee Rs. 75/- + One time Registration fee, which is mandatory, of Rs. 50/- . Candidates have to pay application fee through online mode only.

Pay Scale: 
1.Assistant - Rs 5200- 20200/-
2.Personal Clerk - Rs 5200- 20200/- + GP 2800/-
3.Planning Junior Assistant - Rs 5200- 20200/- + GP 2600/-
4.Lower Division Clerk - Rs 5200- 20200/- + GP 2600/-
5.Junior Co-operative Auditor - Rs 5200- 20200/- + GP 2400/-

Selection Process: 
--The selection will be made on the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the Written Examination.
--Two types of question papers will be set for written exam. One type of question paper will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 items) and General English (100 items).
--The other will contain questions on General Studies (75 items), Aptitude and Mental Ability Test (25 items) and General Tamil (100 items). Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first (75+25)100 items on General Studies.
