UP Police Recruitment & Promotion Board invites applications for the recruitment of total 2064 vacant posts of Sub Inspector (SI) in UP Police.

Post Qualification Criteria:

Age Qualification:
Candidate's age should be between 21-28 years as on 01-07-2015.

Essential Educational Qualification:
The Graduation Degree with 55% marks from recognized University is mandatory for eligible candidates and have required physical standard to fulfill eligibility criteria for UP Police Recruitment 2015.

Other Details of Recruitment

Application Fees:
--It is mandatory to deposit the fee through online.
--Application fee is Rs. 400/- to be paid through online process or by bank challan.
--No fee for SC/ST candidates.

Pay Scale: 
Rs. 9300- 34800/- + GP 4200/-

Selection Process:
Selection process will comprise a written test, physical standard measurement and physical endurance test. Written test will have four section of general hindi(100 marks), general knowledge (100 marks), reasoning test(100 marks) and numerical ability(100 marks) total of 400 marks.Candidates, who get qualified in written test, will be called for physical standard measurement and physcial endurance test.In physical endurance test, female candidates have to complete 2.4 kilometer in 16 minute and for male candidates 4.8 kilometer in 28 minute.
