A notification has been released by Central Railway  for filling up 171 posts of Trade Apprentice Under the Apprentice Act-1961, in the Diesel Loco Shed, Pune. Candidates may send their applications in the prescribed format along with one set of self attested photocopies of all relevant documents to the given address. Incomplete application or application submitted in a different
format is liable to be summarily rejected. Last date for receipt of applications is 08-10-2015.

Post Qualification Criteria:

Age Qualification:
1.Diesel Mechanic : 15-24 years.
2.Electrician : 15-24 years.
3.Welder (G&E) : 15-24 years.
4.Machinist : 15-24 years.
5.Painter (General) : 15-24 years.

Essential Educational Qualification: 
Candidates should Passed 10th class with 50% marks & ITI.

post only. Application should be hand written in Hindi/English by the Candidate only in the prescribed Proforma. Xerox Copy of School Leaving Certificate /Academic/Technical qualification/Caste Certificate (if any) issued by the appropriate authority duly attested should
be attached along with the prescribed application form. Applicant should paste his/her recent
Passport size photograph on the right side corner of the prescribed proforma duly signed by him/

Self addressed envelope, with postal stamp for Rs.30/- pasted on the same along with 02 passport size Photo should be submitted along with the prescribed application proforma.

Selection Process: 
Selection for Act Apprentice would be based on merit without any written examination. The Merit would consist of Percentage of marks in 10th class and Weightage of 05% (Marks) for an additional ITI qualification.
