A notification has been released by Jammu and Kashmir Police Department for the recruitment as Constable in Police Armed force (3000 Posts) and Police Executive force (1000 Posts). Eligible applicant can apply for the said posts by sending fully filled application form as per format given together with relevant documents to given address by 22-10-2015. The candidates should apply only in the district to which they belong (based on Permanent Resident Certificate). Post Qualification Criteria:

Age Qualification:
-- Candidate's age should be between 18-28 years as on 01-01-2015.
-- Age relexation is applicable as per rules.

Essential Educational Qualification: 
--Candidates should fulfill the followings criteria.
-- Passed Matriculation examination or equivalent.
-- Required physical standard.

Other Details of Recruitment

Application Fees:
Candidates can get application form in the office of all the district SSsP in J&K of the payment
of Rs. 300/-.

Pay Scale:
Rs. 5200- 20200/- + GP 1900/-

Apply Now:
The duly filled in application form (OMR) shall be deposited by the eligible candidates in the offices of respective District Superintendents of Police (SP) where the applicant resides. The migrant candidates shall deposit their applications forms, indicating their original residental particulars, inthe district police offices where they are persently settled.

Selection Process: 
-- Written examination and Physical measurement / physical efficiency test will be conducted for selection of candidates.
-- Written examination will be of 100 marks of 2 hours duration based on OMR sheets. The Questions will be of 10th standard.
-- Final selection will be based on the medical test.
